    Brownstone

Located in the Alhambra Mall, we tried it last evening. Packed. Long wait unless we wanted to sit at the bar which is our preference, anyway. Went to try the ribs and were not disappointed. The two sides were, well, sides. But the ribs, oh my, my. Split a rack with the honey BBQ sauce and were stuffed when we finally got through all of them.

Staff was right out straight but we never felt ignored, they were of good humor. Jacob behind the bar was entertaining, perfect personality for a barkeep. Divi membership got us a "free dessert" which was vanilla ice cream on a bed of warm strawberry compote - surprisingly delicious.

Large selection of top shelf single malts, from $22 to $65 per shot. We're not liquor drinkers but this seemed worthy of note for you folks that are.

One entre, two pops, dessert: $45US. Will be back.

I hit them for a 'bar snack' of chicken wings late one evening last trip and was also quite pleased.
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the best of men!

Thanks Mark for the heads up. I am a Divi member and being that the Brownstone is at the Alhambra Mall is very fine.

Just noticed on their website that the Brownstone is affiliated with Twist of Flavors and Senses. I hope they do well and look forward to trying it when we get back to Aruba.

Yes, it's owned by the same people. I wanted to try it last August but never got around to it. It's definitely on the list for next year!

At first I thought it’s kind of a tough location as a couple of prior restaurants (which were good) had failed. Given that they are affiliated with TOF and Senses, I have a better feeling about it.
