I second the Che Bar recommendation. We've been a few times. Our experience in the late afternoon appetizers was better than late night snack.
The best trip is the next trip. Anxiously waiting to book something.

Mi Boca Dushi in Ponton(closes at 2pm). The best places for local pastechi and empanada are the roadside spots dedicated to only breakfast and lunch.

Alternatively, the Sasaki gas station also gets great pastechis and I think also empanadas delivered late in the afternoon just before sundown.
