    Favorite Entree' .... Where?

If you had just 1 evening for dinner in Aruba..........what is the restaurant and what would be your entree?

Paul has his thoughts, but I think I would choose: Bavaria Restaurant and the dinner would be the chicken schnitzel w/ mushrooms sauce and spaetzle.

Certainly not a high end fine dining place, but a consistently mid range restaurant with excellent food, staff and management.

The agnolotti at Casa Nonna. It’s veal ragu, spinach and taleggio cheese, truffles pecorino fonduta, Marsala glaze. Quite the description but I count this as one of the best things I ever ate!

I was thinking bone-in ribeye at Sunset Grille....... but looking at their menu, now their 18% service charge is added to the menu prices..... Sooooooo...... I would go back toPapiamento for the best grilled pork chop I ever had!

This probably doesn't count, but I'm a sucker for a Local Store burger and fries. Not high end by any stretch, but oh so good.

It Counts! It certainly does not have to be high end fine dining.
fine dining is in the eye of the beholder!
Paul says he agrees with you but adds in the Local Stores "Wings" too.
the few times we have been there, we have split a burger and split an order of fries and split an order of wings.
it is so good, one can feel their blood solidifying!

We have only been there for the meet and greet for drinks and an app. We had the loaded fries and they were pretty amazing so if we were talking about best app I definitely would go with Local Store. Hope to get back there this trip.

Oh, the wings.... Definitely the best on the island, I can't think of anywhere I've had wings that were better. Except maybe Dirty Birds in Pacific Beach, but it's real close between the two.

It is so hard to choose because not only do I love so many restaurants, but always have a hard time making a choice because I know they'll be great. However, the only place I know that has duck is Chalet Swiss and I love duck and I can't get that around where I live(I won't make it because I don't think anyone else likes it), so the duck at Chalet Swiss. As much as I love the burgers and wings at Local Store, I can get burgers and wings at home.
