I love the mix grill and Pam always orders the vegetable korma. The garlic naan is great. http://tandooraruba.com

My next idea would have been Atardi on the beach at the Marriott hotel. We will be trying it for the first time this year and have heard good things.
thanks for the suggestions Tracey. We saw Elements next door at the Bucati Reaort and a couple of others here suggested it too.

We have been to Atardi at the Marriott. The setting is great but the menu is somewhat limited and we had poor preparation of our food last time we were there, a couple of years ago...I.e. overcooked and undercooked.

We used to eat at The Chophouse back when it was French Steakhouse and had great meals. We'll probably try The Chophouse on our next trip. We thought Elements was good, but I think that the hype was so high that it didn't live up to it for us. We ate at Atardi when it was Simply Fish, and dined there (now as Atardi) last February. Our food was good, but we've had better. The prices are inflated for what you get. I won't rush back. How did you like The Chophouse?

We'll have to go next May and drag Paul along. I'll help him navigate the menu and the lack of spice level.

Chophouse is where I'll be dining my first night at Manchebo (less than three weeks now!). Can't wait to try their tiramisu!

We enjoyed Chophouse at Manchebo very much. We did not have Harold as the waiter but the service was still very good. Piano player was excellent and perfect accompaniment for a dining spot of this caliber. It was a nice surprise that the Omakase Sushi bar is in the same restaurant. I asked to see their menu and we ordered edamame and a couple of pieces of nigiri (yellowtail) as appetizers. The steaks were awesome, tender and flavorful my wife and I shared the filet...we are not big eaters) and it was plenty. Also, one of our party had the Tomahawk pork chop and raved about it. The only disappointment was that they were out of Caesar salad and the mighty cheesecake for dessert (which others here had recommended). We ended up sharing a piece of the apple strudel with ice cream which was excellent. Nice wine list with most selections available by the glass. We really enjoyed the dinner.

We then walked around the resort and the little shopping village adjacent to the resort. What a cool convenient place this is. We had never been to this area of Aruba. I can see why many of you love coming to this section.

We are all going to Madame Janettes tonight for dinner.... can’t wait for the almond crusted grouper!

So glad you enjoyed the Chophouse. We feel it is a nice break from a day in the sun and the food has been consistently good. Enjoy MJ’s!!

We were pleasantly surprised by that area near the Chophouse. Now I cant imagine not working into part of our trip. I am happy to hear you enjoyed it and will keep that sushi tip in mind!
