    Hyatt Sunday Brunch

Does anyone know if the Hyatt Sunday brunch is still happening during these Covid times? Have they changed how they are serving? We went for the first time last year and enjoyed it. They have a lot of lunch options which works better for us. I sent a message on their FB page so if they respond I will report back.

I got the following response from Hyatt:

Good Morning - Thank you for contacting the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort, Spa & Casino.

Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 situation, we have suspended our Sunday brunch operation, until further notice.
We look forward to providing Sunday brunches soon again, when days are brighter and safer.

Currently we do offer a la carte breakfast at our Ruinas del Mar daily from 7:30 am till11:30 am.

Should there be any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Sunny regards,

The social media team at The Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort

I wonder if its due to the lack of business? Seems to me they could set it up and have someone behind some type of divider serving the buffet. I always enjoyed the Sunday buffet but I have not done it in years.

That could very well be the reason, lack of business and not being able to prepare accurate quantities to make it worth it for customers and the bottom line. You also have the increased cost of PPE. There is a buffet open in a beach town near us and some friends went and said each trip to the buffet you put on new gloves before you got your new plate.

Tracey, La Vista appears to be open for dining as they are taking rsvps this evening. I don't think Open Table will let you make reservations if the restaurant isn't open. The buffet there is pretty good and the mimosas are too. Of course it's not the Hyatt's Sunday Brunch...
