    New restaurant

While we were running our errands last Friday we saw that a Turkish restaurant will be opening to the left of Linda's Dutch Pancakes. It did have a name on the sign that said "coming soon" but I was driving didn't catch the name. We are hoping it opens before we leave.

Since 1980, and throughout the many changes, we still love going downtown in Oranjestad.

    Hi Robin,

Sounds interesting, and yet another addition to Aruba's already lively dining scene.

I have to ask, is this another Turkish restaurant? Apparently there is one supposedly going into the old Barney's location. Is this another one?

A Turkish restaurant would be featuring falafel and lots of lamb dishes. We might try it when we are there in October.

I think Sultan is Middle Eastern with a focus on Arabian and Lebanese food. Turkish food is similar and does have a lot of the same types of food. We've been to Turkish places that were great. If you google Sultan Aruba menu you can find their menu. I'll be over in that area tomorrow, so I'll try to stop in and see what's happening.

Did anybody try small Lebanon restaurant ‘Marhaba’. In the Noord, along the route 2?
The food is very tasty and price is reasonable.

I also have been past Arabica Restaurant, but we have never been. It is near the Honda dealership. Also, Yanti has moved to Wilheminastraat across from Elmar.

I went to their FB page and looked at some of the photos
    AWESOME!!

Getting back to the Turkish place next door to Lindas...
I am excited about that place too.
When we lived in MA we frequented a Turkish place often and loved it.
    Very similar to Armenian food.
