    Papiamento Restaurant

I haven't heard or seen any reviews about Papiamento Restaurant in a long time. We went there a couple of times during our early visits but haven't been there in a few years. Is it still around?

We are in Aruba now and went to Papiamento last night! Food was great. We had such a relaxing time. The service was too notch. We had blue cheese shrimp appetizer, and seafood on the stone. Delicious!

We have been there a few times. Valentines Day 2018 it poured and poured. We were seated inside in a tiny room of only three tables. It was so cute. There is so much on the menu, that I find it hard to choose what to get.

I love Papiamento Restaurant. It is as timeless as Madame Janette's and I think it has been open for that long also as it has a long history of excellence in Aruba. The setting is romantic (especially the tables for two which surround the pool - you typically need a reservation to get one of those). The menu offers something for everyone, even local dishes like Kesha Yena. If you like wine, their selections are excellent.
After dinner, it is always fun to walk through the interior of the restaurant and view the adorable decorations/displays in the rooms (no one ever sits/eats "in" the restaurant because it is small, except when it rains. (as described by Tracey)
