We tried another new restaurant Patio15. It is still currently operating with a limited soft opening menu of 12 tapas style items. They will slowly build up to 35 items.
We order 4 items-1. Kesha Yena tacos-2 small taco, however, the tortilla is a thin round funchi(like the fries but super thin), 2. Funchi fries without cheese but a unique dipping sauce 3. Double olives(Stu ate this)-olives made two different ways with 3 pieces of Johnny Cakes(I forget the Aruban name) and 4. wings-unbreaded. Everything was very good. The service was great. We are looking to try more items in the future.
It is located behind the bus station in the yard of a cunucu house. It is nicely done. The inside does not have seating yet, but has a lot of historic items-1950/1960s era tv and radio, older telephone-no idea how old-maybe 1930s, an old Singer sewing machine, victrola, a wall dedicated to Aruban musicians, and a full modern bar. Prices are in florins, not dollars as they hope to appeal to locals and visitors.
