    Restaurant gift certificates

I just saw the Aga site and it states you can buy restaurant gift certificates. Has anyone purchased these before? It states they will deliver them to your hotel. Thank you for the info

yes, we got them about 8 or 10 + years ago.

i think we ended up with 3 and each were discounted but each one was face value $50.

the odd/weird thing is that Driftwood would NOT accept the gift certificate.
they were on the list of AGA participants.

read the list of participating restaurants.
if these are restaurants that would be dining at anyway, then maybe it is a good deal (IF they are discounted)

if you are going to be using them for yourselves, then why not just forgo the gift certificates and pay for your meal(s) the usual way?
if i remember correctly, we got 3 certificates ...face value $50 each AND we paid a total for the 3, $120. we thought that was a good deal.
