As always everyone has a differing opinion. I like the beefy taste and texture of Argentine beef for a change of pace.
    Thanks.... great information!

I see that you included Australian beef here too. They get that into our local grocery store at home, but the steaks are so thin, that I don't buy them. I guess I will get to see what they are like in November and December of this year.

How do you like your steak or burgers cooked? Rare, med. rare, med. etc.

Me: medium rare to rare depending on what it is. I have told servers for steak-slightly more done than mooing.

The only steak I’ll eat is a tenderloin. For me it has to be medium to medium well. I’m okay with it having a little pink. I’ve always found sirloin and other cuts to be too strong tasting for me. I like both USDA and Argentinean beef though.

i am with you - medium rare and hate when they don’t get it right and come out with steak overcooked. Ribeye is our favorite.

We love tenderloin and ny strip.
me= rare, Paul= medium well (which to me a pot roast)

We have only dined at El Gaucho 2x in all of of years going to Aruba and both times enjoyed the steaks there.
I guess we never paid attention to it being Argentinian and did not know the difference.
    Maybe ignorance was bliss.

We have had Wagyu beef on cruises and that is delicious and tender.
THINK.. is it Thoughtful? Helpful? Inspirational? Necessary? Kind? sidtm

I can eat excellent meat at almost any temp but prefer med rare....I won't eat any burgers cooked over med and even that is usually to much for me.

Many people here go for the Brazilian cuts as well if available. Cheaper, but still lots of flavor.
