Best of luck planing your wedding! You might also want to check out Manchebo. I''ve seen several weddings there, none same sex, but the setting there is so beautiful and intimate because it is a small, quiet resort. I have met many same sex couples who were staying there. They have an all inclusive plan if that is how you want to go, but they also have right many restaurants in that area, along with a casino and a little shopping.

Thanks everyone! We have narrowed it down to Renaissance or Occidental! Will spend the weekend reading up on other posts about both locations, pros and cons. We really appreciate all the support! I will make sure to update regularly.

Renaissance Isand will be a lot more private. There are tons of restaurants next to the hotel property and within walking distance. Congrats!

When we stayed at the Renaissance it appeared to be very gay friendly. I can't think of a nicer place to get married than the private island. Congratulations to you both!

i am way behind on this matter but we passed by at "Occidental" last year and they had this kind of wedding going on on beach.Probably you should contact them and see if they up to it now, since they supposed to changed name of the parent company.

Me too! It's wonderful how diverse and accepting Aruba is.... no wonder we all love the place.

You may also want to check out arubafairytales officed in Costa Linda. When I discussed our daughter possibly getting married there I noticed a large sign stating they specialize in LGBT wedding (blessing) ceremonies. They have a website.

The same owner of Aruba fairy tales is the one mentioned in the link provided by Andrea. She is the owner of G + L weddings also. She is very friendly to work with.
