Yes, same sex ceremonies can be performed on the beach or any location you prefer, except at the Aruba Town Hall. For your information, Holland is same sex friendly for legal marriages, but unfortunately the Aruba Government has not yet changed their policy. Maybe in the near future?? With so many states that allow same sex legal marriages, the easiest thing to do if both partners are of the same sex, is to have their legal ceremony in their home state and come to Aruba for their beach ceremony blessingand honeymoon.

Although I have never personally attended a same sex wedding in Aruba, I have coordinated a few same sex weddings in Aruba. However the couples had their civil ceremony in their home city that allows same sex ceremonies. The resorts and hotels in Aruba do not have a problem allowing same sex couples to use their beach or gardens. Because Aruba is famous for their beautiful beaches and beautiful scenery the island has become very popular through the years for a destination wedding.
