    PCR test at the airport?

Hi, can anyone tell me if they got the PCR test @the Airport in Aruba. How long before you get results.

Has anyone been positive and put into quarantine?

We're suppose to be returning on May 11th, it's an early flight out of Logan, on JetBlue, Vault will not guarantee
results in time for Tuesday flights.

We've been going to Aruba for over 25 years now and really missed twice last year. Hoping this
    year we get there.

    Any suggestions would be great!

welcome to the aruba.com community forum

most folks get their airport testing results within 4 to 12hrs of arrival.

I recommend often that folks, if able, get tested at home.

Since you are leaving from the Boston area, I have to assume that you have any options at CVS or Walgreens or your local health dept testing site.

Good luck and please let us know what you find if you are able to test at home.

Hi Leelaw, welcome to the forum. We tested at the airport in November and had our results by early the next morning.

We tested at 3:30 pm on arrival (Sunday) and had results by 8:00 pm. BUT that was the tail end of low season and we're in a house we own so were able to get the refrigerator stocked before arrival. Lots of restaurants delivering though so that shouldn't be an issue while you wait.

Lee, why do you have to use VAULT for your pre-arrival testing? There are so many Covid testing sites that will "assure" (won't say guarantee) results within 48 hours regardless of what day you are testing or leaving. I would check out other options in the Boston area so that you can get the results back in time to upload with your Aruba ED online immigration info.
    Good luck,
    Brian

I have a friend who lives 20 miles from Logan and has had trouble searching out a covid testing site that gives quick results. That being said....I traveled from Logan on a Tuesday about 2 weeks ago. Tested at Aruba airport around noon, results back at 9PM same day. I am in my own home so not hard to quarantine of course. Resorts will deliver food to your room. Groceries can be delivered also.

We tested at Walgreen's with the I.D. Now test and were able to upload the results about a day later. This was in early March. Good luck to you whatever you decide and have a great time in Aruba.
