    Bon Bini! Welcome to Aruba!

From my 47 years of umpiring, I can tell you a thing or two about thigh cramps. It's usually related to hydration. A long travel day to Aruba can do a number on good hydration in a hurry. Chug down some good Aruba water!

P.S. I am STILL not a doctor, and Playa Linda is STILL not a Holiday Inn Express! LOL!

Good point Rich. I had 5 drinks on the plane, 3 at West Deck, coffee and zero water yesterday. Today is hydration day until the evening for happy hour...Everybody else is on point with the supplements. One of the draw backs of Atkins, low carb diets is low potassium and you get horrible cramps. I'm not on this diet but remember in the past..

    Whatcha doin? Lol

Do you have plans to go to Gostoso? I wanted to try it but didn’t find the time. At some point during your trip, I recommend trying Bohemian. It’s located at Barcelo so not too far walk/taxi depending on your mood.

    Bon Dia USA!

I am feeling really relaxed and energised. I'm surprised how fast I relaxed but I did rest a lot on my first day Saturday.

Yesterday day 2, I went to The deli at Aruba Phoenix around 7am. They make some great breakfast sandwiches and great coffee. I brought it up to room and enjoyed breakfast on balcony. I did the same this morning and read the Aruba newspaper. I spent the day at the pool yesterday. I did some exercises in the pool that Andrea reccomended. It helped a lot! At physical therapy I do squats, lunges but end up in pain ,limping the next day. Water exercise is the way to go for arthritis. I took a break at noon and ate lunch at pool bar some huge tasty quesadillas which were nicely toasted and loaded with chicken and cheese. Of course 2 pina coladas and 2 Miami Vice to wash it down. They have all day 2 for 1 from 11a.m. To 11pm any drink low shelf booze. I said to bartender that with such a deal there is no reason to go to another resort for happy hour. He said, that is the idea. They mentioned that this week they are at 60% capacity so the long happy hour may change in weeks to come. After lunch, back to pool. I hung out at pool until 4pm a record for me. I hardly rested and spent a lot more time in water.

Back in the room for shower, relax and checked in with my brother who took Ms Daisy to an opthomologist. He said they ran a lot of tests. They spent 2 hours there. She complained to me about seeing dark spots in right eye so I booked appointment right away. Turns out she has some dry blood in retina so I have to book an appointment with a Retina specialist when I get back. My brother should have done that now but he just said I have the referral so you can make appointment. Whatever! At least he took her to this appointment.

I had dinner at the bar around 630pm some burger sliders with sweet potatoes fries. The fries were better than burger. I had 2 balashi and 4 mojitos or was it 6. LOL hey at 2 for one, drink up!

After dinner I went to room. They have Netflix on TV and some family forgot to log out. I have my own Netflix account but it was easy to use theirs already set up. I was watching star trek the next generation and half way thru fell asleep on sofa. When I awoke, I went to bed. Well I did not nap that day which is a first for me. It's been cool so I did not feel tired from being in the Sun all day. Perfect weather and snow heading to NY.

Well that was it for day 2 of my lazy days....

Sounds like a great, relaxing vacation. I know that you needed a break. Before Covid, I was doing an arthritis water aerobics class in a warm water therapy pool. It really helps. Enjoy yourself!
