Day 2. Woke up 630am tired despite going to bed at 930pm and a very good night sleep. My goal was to walk to Twist Of Flavors for breakfast but was tired by the time I got to TulipTulip so I ate breakfast there instead. No big deal just an omlette, toast and coffee. Afterwards I paid a visit to Christy Manager of MV C Eagle Beach. She was not as receptive as other trip visits. Her husband has been sick and bed ridden for 2 months and can't walk. She would not say why but advised me to lose weight because it's hard on the knees, she said her husband is not heavy but did a stupid thing, mentioned he had surgery so I asked what kind and she said I dunno. She looked sad, depressed and angry at the same time. I said goodbye and told her to wish him well for me a d she was like, you can do that yourself on FB. I was like ok...

I didn't feel like the beach today so I went to the pool around 1130am. It was very windy but umbrellas were up. Broke for lunch at 130 islander grill or outside pool. I share table with some folks who wanted to play bingo. I think I'm going to play tomorrow.

Took a nap at 330 to 530. I felt so tired!!! Made it to dinner at 8pm at Asi Es Mi Peru. They live up to their excellent reviews. I started of with the shrimp ceviche. Really good and you get a lot shrimp like 12. Then I had Lomo Soltado which is a stir fry steak dish with white rice and French fries. For dessert I had their home made doughnuts Picarone with Peruvian ice cream. It was decadent!!!! They charge a service charge which came out to 10 percent. The young waitress was so nice when I inquired and said tip included nothing else required unless you want to up to you. So I left a few bucks extra.

Afterwards I went to Glitz Casino to donate a little money. I found a slot machine that lets me play long and I enjoy.

It was a tiring day but not bad. I'm Glad I jumped in cold shower and went out to dinner.

Day 3 Birthday in Aruba what could be better..

Woke up energetic and went to islander grill for breakfast and straight for the beach. I got there at 930am and there were 12 palapas mostly towards the back. I secure one midway. I relaxed with a rum punch. I usually like to read but the handle on my glasses came off. One of the bartenders at pata bar said I can have it fix at Palm mall so maybe tomorrow. The water was great as usual. I spent 2 hours floating around. You know the deal once you go in you don't want to come out.

Afterwards I ate lunch at the bar. I had a pastechi with meat crouquet. Yummy..Back to the room at 2pm I showered and took a nap for an hour. At 5pm I went to Twist Of Flavour for their Monday wine pairing. It was actually good ,fun and educational. It was 4 different wines paired with mini spring roll, seared tuna with soy sauce, stir fry beef and a chocolate mouse with port wine. For dessert they added a sizzling candle and sang happy birthday to me which was nice.

Afterwards dinner at Chalet Suisse but no appetizer or dessert. All ready had that at wine tasting. I had the lobster thermidore which was delicious. I mentioned it was my birthday but no acknowledgement.Well Benny was not there.

Afterwards went to Glitz Casino thinking I would win on my birthday but not a chance. Machines not loose on a Monday.

I think I had a pretty good day for my birthday.
