Glad to hear your trip is off to a good start (apart from crispy lips...)
Thank you for the reminder to confirm the lip balm in my purse has SPF... alas, it does not.
I will heed your cautionary tale and correct that before we leave home.

I love Aruba Aloe products - EXCEPT the lip balm. It is the pits and they really should improve it. Sorry for your lips :-(

    Day 2 Nov 29 Friday

Sunny, pray for a cloud kind a day.

I drew the short straw and was out poolside at 6:30 to scope out a good spot.
Paul has the short straw for tomorrow and he will go at 7 am.
I watched folks play ridiculous games….you’re in my spot…….i have been coming here for 30 years….are you a renter or an owner? Bla bla bla bla. The odd thing is the folks were pretty old……and as a pretty old gal myself, these folks had 10+ years on me. None of the comments were directed at me and I just watched. Michael, one of the security guys came by and as the foolishness became even more ridiculous, he intervened and told folks to play nice. All this at 6:45 AM. Next time I will video (not)…..unless fists fly then all bets are off.

We spent pretty much all the time in the pool or ocean….only to return to our table and chairs to apply more block and chug some water and iced tea. I think that I drank 3 qts of water today and still feel dehydrated.

By 3 pm our sorry bums were dragging and we came back to the studio unit for a quick rum and pineapple juice and then a nap til 6 pm. Dinner was some chicken and rice , leftovers from Hung Paradise.

My lips got fried today and I used the aruba aloe lip spf 15 and reapplied it probably 5 times.
That lip stuff is now in the trash and I am back to using Banana Boat 30 SPF lip goop.
I took Lucky's advice broke off a piece of aloe and applied the stuff to my lips...........ahhhhhh.
Thank you to the strangers that had Aloe plants poking thru their fence not too far from Superfood. I certainly hope that no dog visited the plant before I applied it to my mouth GAG

I will get around to taking some photos.

    Alhambra, again cruel.
Glitz at Lacabana cruel and HOT. Good Lord, drop the airco a few degrees!

Tomorrow will be a beach day with Peg and Tom….we will head over there at about 10 and stay for a few hours.

Hope my day does not bore all of you.

and the first 2 photos are unrelated to Aruba.
Just my tinkering with cards and plaques.

Pics look good in the link, cant wait to see more.

The "spot" games are alive and well at Playa Linda too. I guess some people just have to have something to complain about...such a shame.

You just reminded me to get some lip balm. Areas people forget to protect are the lips and ears and boy do they hurt if they get burned. Rum and Pineapple is my favorite. Enjoy!
