    Dec 1 Sunday

We got in late last night from the Glitz Casino @ the LaCabana.
Finally we were winners on Saturday evening.
I hit a couple of times for good amounts……one for $536 and another for $400, Paul hit a few smaller ones but when all was said and done we kept most of the money.

We spent the day poolside, in the pool and running across the street for a dip in the ocean 2x. Pool water warm, ocean a bit cooler but not cold at all.
I had 3 people come up to me today…….people I did not know. A younger couple said “Hi Andrea. We are lurkers on the forum” and they thanked ALL for great advice. A little while later as I was stuffing peanut butter on apple into my face a gentleman stopped and said “are you Andrea?” I said yup. He identified himself as Hal aka CaptainZ on the forum. We chatted for a while. It is nice that folks stop and say hello.

Paul was itching for some NFL watching. He went back to the room to set up his little smorgasbord and was happily entertained with his junk food, coca cola and football.
(I made myself a wedge salad and brought it to the pool and ate quietly by myself)

At 5 pm I strolled into the room and Paul was itching to hurry and go for dinner and then to casino and be back in the room by 8:20 for the NE Pats on NBC.
I hurried in the shower threw on some clothes and we were out the door……….all in the name of “almighty ne pats.”
We wound up at Bingos. <not my favorite> but he likes the place. Uggg it was HOT, even in the air conditioned section it was still pretty warm.
    Our meals however were delicious.
He had the mixed grill and I had an appetizer of coconut shrimp and a baked potato.
It was the best coconut shrimp that I had ever had. The server was fine with me ordering an appetizer for my dinner. Some places balk at not ordering an entree. Seriously, the coconut shrimp was amazing.

Then to the Glitz Casino so that we could continue our winning streak……..Not.
We each lost in no time at all.

Back to the room and again, he is prepping his junk food smorgasbord for the football game…..i just reminded him that the game is starting at 9:20 since we are 1 hr ahead of the east coast.

Tomorrow….Boca Catalina Beach or Baby Beach and dinner might be, Casa Tua or Café Plaza or The Pancake Place at the Seaport Marketplace.

BTW…….Lindas Dutch Pancake is no more.
Linda's is closed permanently? I know they are not open on Sunday, but I'm surprised it is totally closed. They renovated and enlarged it and it was always busy.

That’s sad about Linda’s it always seemed popular. It’s such a competitive environment for restautants!

Tom is watching the Patriots as we speak. Trying to get him to stop yelling at the TV. It’s not as if we were at home!!!

They are in the same building. I can't remember if they moved or just enlarged. When we were there last year, there was a restaurant in place on the left(the end I think) but it was not open.

Ok that end space on the left closest to the gas station used to be the original Linda’s. I wonder if they moved up closer in the same strip mall closer to Bingo?
