Well today was a lazy day. We went to Ike’s for breakfast and then packed snacks for the beach. That beautiful Aruba breeze is back! We spent hours on the beach. We went to Fishes & More for dinner. We took the car and parked in that little lot behind Arawak Gardens. Thank you to whoever on this forum mentioned it. It was the perfect place to park. It was crazy busy down there. So glad to get back to the quiet at Manchebo. We’re sitting on the patio with our Bailey’s wondering if the owl will be back. I know it was a once in a lifetime sighting, but you never know! More tomorrow!
I know I’ve lost a few days. Yesterday (Thurs) we had breakfast at Ike’s and then headed up to the lighthouse. Lots of people there with a few tour groups. On the winding road there we encountered a Segway group coming down and also a tour group of jeeps. We left there and stopped at Super Food to replenish supplies. It rained really hard when we were in there because the roads were flooded on our way back. We hit the beach because the sun was back out. Dinner was at Iguana Cantina. We didn’t take a table by the railing because the skies got dark again. Sure enough it poured again. I know it gets mixed reviews, but we really like it. We parked at the Palm Beach Mall garage. My God, what a strange parking structure! If you ever parked there you know. I’ll post todays adventure later. OK, something sparkly was purchased!
