    Thursday
Thanksgiving in Aruba, what could be better! Wheels 2 Go picked up the car, yes today was the day. We had a rain shower and we saw a beautiful rainbow. We had breakfast at Ike’s and packed the cooler for the beach. We had cheese and crackers and finished that great salami we got at Super Food. I don’t think I mentioned that hubby got a free shirt at Super Food because of the World Cup. We watch a lot of European soccer at home so he was happy with it. We had 6pm dinner reservations at Ike’s. They had a Thanksgiving menu which was nice. We sat by the pool, which was nice until we had a rain shower. Luckily we had just ordered dessert so we ran inside and ate it there.

    Friday
Since it’s the last day we just beached it. We had a late lunch at the Pega Pega. We showered and then went over to The Alhambra. We made a very small donation and shopped a little. We ate at TOF. We packed as much as we could and watched a little TV.

    Saturday
Our flight isn’t till 4:45pm, but we plan on leaving a little after 12m. We said our goodbyes and they gave us Manchebo T-shirts because we’re repeaters. They’re cute! When we got to the airport there was a long line outside. We couldn’t figure out if we needed to join the line so I asked someone by the door. I told him we were flying United Business Class. He said that we could come right in. We only had 2 people in front of us. It was quick, but then the line began outside where they check passports and boarding passes. The line stretched along the hallway. After we picked up our luggage we told them we were first timers using Global Entry. They took us over to the kiosks and showed us how to you them. This is where we must have saved at least an hour! The line was so long for US Customs. We arrived at the airport at 12:40pm and were at our gate at 1:45pm. I call that a win on a Saturday! Our flight was uneventful and arrived early. Now to start planing another trip.

The later the flight on a Saturday the longer the lines. Sounds like a must to have global entry when leaving Aruba on a Saturday afternoon. Glad it was worth your while.
