    Ok I lost a day
Saturday Same thing got up did treadmill, beach by 7. Hyatt lunch which was just ok this time. Dinner was Lucca which is right next door to Brutto. They are the same owners. Lucca Has pizza and pasta. We ordered the artichokes and the aricini balls for appetizers. My husband had mushroom tortellini, I had pasta with prosciutto, my son had carbonara. The artichokes were in a garlic sauce. I asked for some bread to use to dip up the sauce. They charge 5.00 and give you 4 slices along with a peso sauce. No dessert we were to full.
yesterday was moving day we moved to the playa Linda
got up did the treadmill got a hut at the playa Linda and hung for a bit. Checkout is now moved to 11 at they Hyatt and you can’t check in until 4 now at the playa Linda. Room wasn’t ready until 3:45. Long day of just checking the board to see if your room is ready
I’m using my iPhone so it’s hard to type
2 people here stepped on a sea urchin and had to go to the hospital It did rain in the morning for about 30 minutes and they have said it’s been churning the waters so it’s never happened before that anyone has heard of
Here at the playa Linda they don’t give towel cards anymore it’s in with your room key so you have to register all your info and check in even though room isn’t ready then you can get towels
apparently people steal them ?? Why I’m not sure so they are buckling down on that
tonight was husband pick and we went to iguana cantina
I ended up with pick 3 tacos one fish, one steak and one pulled pork
they were just ok fish was the best . Son had a chicken chimichanga . My husband had fish tacos
    no dessert
depending how long we stay we devide up how many nights we will be there. They each got 4 picks and I got 3 this trip
my son is the foodie so he always gets more. It’s that persons choice so it is what it is

So glad you are having a great time. Both properties you are staying at are great. Love how you all get to choose the restaurants each night. Thanks for sharing!

    thanks for sharing.

sea urchin injuries are usually not very common, but do indeed happen infrequently.
my grandson got one of the little venomous spikes in his hand as he was trying to touch the urchin while snorkeling.
it required some first aid, but not a dr visit, thank god.

yes people steal towels. the fine for lost towels at many places is pretty steep...upwards of $20+

thank you for sharing your stay with us!

soaking the area in vinegar for 30-90 minutes helps as well, especially if a spike is stuck in you. It will dissolve the spike which can then be removed with tweezers.

Sounds like you're enjoying your stay. Bummer that iguana cantina wasn't great. Hopefully it was just an off night?
    Thanks for the update!

Thanks! yup, that is what they did.
when he got stuck, they googled on how to remove it!!
there were some tears and the wait staff at Reflexions beach bar provided the vinegar.

Doing the same with hot water supposedly has the same result. Can only attest to the vinegar, which understandably isn't always available! I find most people don't travel around with a bottle of vinegar in their bags...

we kept telling Liam that it had to soak in urine
Paul and Jake kept saying, come on Liam let's go into the boys bathroom........... made Liam cry even louder.
that's when the wait staff asked us if we wanted to soak his finger in vinegar.

I’m losing retract of the days here
Monday up early got my hut changed quick into bathing suit back to the beach by 6:30am. Breakfast was Eduardo açaí bowls. Dinner my husband couldn’t decide but we ended up at Gianna’s. My husband had the 4 cheese pasta, my son picked 3 different things and they didn’t have them. He ended up with a shrimp ravioli special and I had grouper in a lemon sauce with green beans. Dessert was the bon bons. My only issue is it’s a mixed variety of the bon bons and the waiter did not know what they were. Not very helpful for someone that has allergies. I have no idea what brought on my allergies since I have never had any issues in the past. They say your body changes every 7 years. I hope this passes
Today up early beach by 6:30. We had scots brats for breakfast. Lunch was garden fresh and now dinner is going to be whilomena.
we like to eat early and then come back and take a walk.
