Also there were only 166 passengers on the manifest.

The biggest discrepancy was that we were not “horrified to find that there were no taxis.” I was fortunate to be one of the first out of the airport, and there were at least 20 taxis lined up with an expeditor. Perhaps those that came out later had to wait and I’m sure they were frustrated after the long day. I do know that the airport was notified about 5 hours earlier of the situation. My taxi driver said that he received a call ahead of time and notified some of his friends. There was even a news reporter on site and it was on the morning news.

The article also mentioned that we had to wait a few hours in Jamaica. 10 seemed like a little more than a few at the time.

    I missed this earlier.
As Jay mentioned, it’s an executive suite. It is about 1,100 SF with a king bed, separate living room, and 1.5 baths directly overlooking the ocean. The master bath has an oversized soaking tub and a separate shower. Ours is on the 6th floor; one below the top floor.

PS. Jay, it only took me 8 months, but I finally found and introduced myself to Jensen!

I love the Ritz. We were in an oceanfront room there and found it to be incredibly hot in the afternoons. So much that we couldn't sit on the balcony and watch the sunset and had to pull the drapes in the afternoon so the room didn't get hot. But it was oceanfront at the Ritz, so I wasn't complaining.

I want to grow my own food, but I
    can't find any bacon seeds...

Same with us at LaCabana. The units that we used to own face the west the room got incredibly hot.

No cruise ships in today so we headed into town and met up with our friends at Shiva’s jewelry for a little shopping. We then walked over to West Deck for some grouper fingers.

Rested up back in the room, then met up with Gaby from Aruba Hands and purchased a few pieces from her.
Walked over to the Vue Rooftop and split a couple of appetizers (Calamari and Potstickers) & a couple of fun martinis.
Tomorrow is a pool/beach day, and may try to grab a cabana.

The cabanas at the Ritz are wonderful and the service is top notch. Love that they have a bed for a comfy nap.
