    We’ve been up since 3am.
    I’m exhausted - but it’s a good exhausted.
As is becoming routine in travel these days, our airport experience was less than stellar. We woke up to the Delta email telling us terminal 4 and gate 39 for today’s flight. We checked in through Sky Priority and tracked to our gate. Before stopping in the Delta Lounge we went to the gate. That’s when we learned the gate AND the terminal were changed. There were quite a few of us who hustled to the bus shuttle to terminal 2. By the time I buckled myself in my seat I had taken 6300 of the 10,000 daily steps.
‘The flight was good. We dozed and watched movies.
AUA was a breeze. No lines anywhere so we were at the Ocean Club within an hour of landing. We caught a bit of traffic at the half completed traffic circle in Palm Beach so maybe lost 10minutes there. Our room was ready, and Steph and Marissa moved over to us from Playa Linda.
Shopped for groceries at Lings and were back in the room by 4. Showered off the airplane/airport dirt then headed to the Stellaris lobby for some just okay sushi. We’ll go to Ruth Chris tomorrow. Met up with some of our group on the Marriott beach for a spectacular fireworks display. Played a bit at the Stellaris. We were up and down all evening, leaving when we got to the break even point.
    Now it’s time for bed!

It’s a typical gorgeous Aruba morning! Mike and I slept in. We needed to!
By the time we woke up, Steph and Marissa had already gotten their coffee and snagged spots by the pool. They walked down to Playa Linda to see the gang there and some came back with them to the Ocean Club for breakfast. Which I apparently paid for… “Thank you, Mama,” said Steph!
They’re back here now harassing us to join them at the pool but we have other plans.
We’re still bumming around the unit drinking coffee and will eventually get dressed and run to town for Mike’s cigars and lunch at The Paddock. We’ll hit the beach this afternoon and stay for the sunset.
Steph and Marissa are meeting up with the cousins for dinner tonight. Mike and I will be at the Ruth Chris bar for martinis and steak then on to the casino for as long as our $200 lasts.
It’s a perfect day in paradise.

Those Delta Gates at JFK are very far. One time the Gate change was at a different terminal so they loaded everyone on a bus and driver took us there thru the run way. It was very far! Glad you made it to Paradise..

Today was another perfect weather day. I finally connected with my cousin who is also at the Ocean Club and we all spent a great day together. Lounge, sea, beer, lounge, Pina Colada, sea ,lounge, bingo, beer, lounge, sea, beer, lounge to dry off, and done! Plans for tomorrow are the same but we’ll add in lunch since we forgot to eat today… unless you count potato chips as a food group.
Dinner tonight at Chicken & Lobster then on to the Hyatt casino in search of the elusive Lady Luck!
