Is the beach area sandy and wide or is it narrow? The ABC beach area changes often.

Yea Hatteras! Glad you are back. Good news you have a new redone room. We know its crazy getting up early for the front row palapa.. Did you figure out the palapa security check procedures? Ricardos has good priced breakfast. Its fun to walk next door to Manchebo for breakfast and HH too. Very convient walk thru the parking lot to Twist of Flavors and that mini mall. Several good shops there. Dont forget to use your room number at ABC on checks and receive discouunt on food and drinks ( not HH ). The towel exchannge is hystetical too, so dont miss out on your fresh daily green towels. ABC is part of Casa Del Mar so dicounts apply. That place has a fun bar and good food too. Cant wait to get your trip reports. We will just be misding you guys.

Hi Sean The renovations are beautiful. We love the room that we are in right now. It's close to Casa Del Mar, and it's waterfront. The only thing that we don't like are the beds. They are hard as a rock. It was like sleeping on a board. They have small, hard pillows, also. Other than that, we love it here. We figured out all of the palapa stuff before we got here. Even though a lot were taken early this morning, Tom was able to get a front row palapa on the end, close to Manchebo. It's a great location. We tried to go to Casa Del Mar for breakfast this morning, but we were too early, so we picked up stuff at Santos instead and ate on the balcony. We are loving it so far.

We had breakfast at Casa Del Mar this morning, but I didn't know about the discount, so we didn't mention where we were staying. Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to let them know next time.

Last night, we walked to Zucchini for dinner. We shared the pasta in the wheel, along with a side of meatballs. Everything was delicious, and our service was very good. They were pretty busy, which is good since they are a little off of the beaten path. We stopped by the market next to Alhambra to pick up a few things, but they weren't stocked very well. We ended up with just a couple of things.

We had breakfast at Casa Del Mar this morning, which was very good. There were several strong downpours this morning, but the weather cleared, and it was a beautiful day. We went to Lings this afternoon to buy groceries. They were also out of several things that we need. We haven't been able to buy a gallon of milk anywhere. There is none on the shelves at Lings, the market at Alhambra, or at the stores at ABC or Casa Del Mar. Lings said that they hope to get some later this week.

We went to happy hour, and then sat on the beach until after sunset. We had dinner in the room.
