Got up at 3:30 to see the message on my phone from Jet Blue that our flight was delayed till 1pm! Ugh, but ok so we went back to sleep. Woke up at 5 too excited to sleep anymore, thankfully, since there was a new message from JB that our flight was changed to 9am! So we woke the boys and walked the dog and jumped in the car. Got to JFK with no issues, found the long term parking, took the AirTrain to the terminal and checked in with time to spare. Took a very long time to get going since the first officer and pilot to change or something like that
Got to AUA, HUGE lines down the entire upstairs corridor. Back to Pre-Covid numbers? Or maybe I just don't know what it's like to travel on a Saturday....
Landed at 3:30 and were outside waiting for the Royal Aruba pickup by 4:10. Got our car, stopped at West Deck for our Balashi Grouper fingers, Keshi Yena, Jerk Wings & the amazing bread basket! YUM!
Checked in at LaCabana, were welcomed home with those beautiful warm smiles. Unpacked and waiting for the kids to get ready so we can go to the pool, order our first Aruba Aribas and have a proper cheers to my mom

Great night with just the hubs & kids. We saw our friend, Franklin, headed to the bar for Michael's first legal drink (he's 18), went to the beach for a bit in the complete darkness, Rich went up to the room and the kids and I went to Glitz. The casino has been redone, many new machines and many less tables. The tables were moved to the downstairs pit area. Kids lost, I was up $20 and we all went up to the room for the night.
So happy to be back in paradise with my babies.
