Sounds like a great day. I've only been to Texas de Brazil once and I think that was 2009. The place was empty because it was election night and no alcohol was being served. I need to try to make it back there.

Michael is doing online courses in Aruba?! Way to go kid!!!

Both boys are taking classes! Michael will start his freshman year in Sept with 6 college credits Jason is also taking summer courses to lessen his case load - he will start his Junior year next month. Moving on campus for the first time just two days after we get home. This past week being just my 5 has been super special for many reasons. My heart is happy.

Wednesday started early in the pouring rain. I mean like a river running down La Cabana's entry way and across the street rushing to a huge puddle at the curb. All the snails were out! By 6:30 all the first row palapas were taken, however, there was only one person occupying a palapa a few down from where I was. Everyone dropped their towels and ran. So annoying.

Spent the day on the beach, came back to make lunches and brought them down to the beach. Filled a big 1.5 liter water bottle with crystal light fruit punch & palmera coconut rum to drink all day.

Came back to the room at 5ish to shower & make tacos. Ate, played Uno Flip and then went to Glitz for a bit. Table games were not open - I'll try again Chip Collector. They reconfigured since last year - only 3 tables remain. Michael won $23, I won $20 and we went to get Gelato. Came back to the room - Boys went to the pool, Brianna, Rich & I played a few more rounds of Uno Flip. Kids are all tucked in watching Stranger Things and we're about to call it a night. At 8:30PM Wild & Crazy!

Michael's summer STEM class closing ceremony is at 8am tomorrow, virtually, so I will get up and cook breakfast and stay in the room to attend. Probably do some laundry and get ready to pack and move already. We'll be moving from my SsIL's room to our regular room and picking up the sisters from AUA on Friday.

Nice pics Jacki - love the one with the rainbow, very cool, beach looks beautiful. Man, that Acai bowl looks so delicious! I will have to get one in October.
