Sadly our regular early morning direct flight was not available on a Thursday so we have a direct flight leaving at 10am. Its a waste of a beach day but we will have 9 more days after tomorrow to enjoy them. We will be staying at the Boardwalk again this trip. We have 2 rooms with a connecting door- can't wait to see it. Our son is 11 now so the more space he has the better off we all are, lol. It will be our 1st time staying at the Boardwalk since they have expanded- can't wait to see the new setup.

We don't have a ton of things planned. We have 1 night set to go out with our great friend Eduardo- and 2 date nights without our son....If you need a trusted sitter let me know...she is wonderful! Other than a few water sports activities we don't have much else planned other than sun, relax, swim, play on the beach, dine, gamble a bit a night, rinse repeat...
See you guys in Aruba. We are leaving on the 20th and staying till the 25th

Quick recap of last night. Ended up heading over to the Ritz for the best spaghetti and meatballs on the planet I think, lol. We enjoyed a great meal and was assisted by one of our best friends. The dinner and drinks kept flowing for a few hours it seemed...lots of catching up with some different folks while we were there. Made it back over to the Boardwalk and ended up drinking and playing some cards....it kept me from donating to the casino as I actually just stayed in with the family last night- gives us some extra cash to blow tonight on our date night. Our wonderful sitter Maritza will be here at 6pm and we headed out. We don't have any plans as of yet...headed down to the main area for a bite and drinks....then some gambling I would think.

My wonderful wife is cooking some eggs up to get us started with a nice breakfast right now. We will head over and claim our palapa later today. Speaking of Palapas the Boardwalk added about a dozen more to what they had previously....its one of the many great benefits of staying here.

    Looks like another great day.

Jay, how do the palapas work at Boardwalk? do you have to reserve them in advance?

We reserve one the day before....when we exchange our beach towels for new ones we ask for a palapa...never had an issue getting one.

Just got out of the shower and enjoying my drink of the evening prior to our sitter arriving for CJ. Today was a fun day so far. We headed to the beach after a nice breakfast prepared by my wife. We played on the beach and did a lot of ocean swimming today. For lunch we did Madero of course for another enjoyable as always. After lunch we went down to the Radisson Blue to see our good friend Sebastian. He gave us some arm bracelets so CJ could swim in their infinity pool which is flat out amazing! Easily one of the best views on the island from the 3rd floor pool. After catching up and enjoying a few more drinks we said goodbye but not before making plans for his day off so we can see his new house and hang out with him and his wonderful wife.

We made it back to the room, took a nap and here we are. We have no plans yet...kind of wining it. Its still very, very warm so I don't see us eating anyplace outside...who knows what that will leave us for options in a bit, lol.
Trip 33 begins on July 15.
