Sorry to hear she isn't feeling well. They do a good job at the Urgent Care. Make sure you submit your $150 to your insurance. We got it all back from our insurance after Stu's visit this year. We still have to submit the meds because that company wants the actual receipts.

Thanks Robin. Hopefully she’ll recover in a couple of days. This happens to her on occasion. We saved all of the receipts, and we’ll submit when we get back.

Sorry to hear your wife needed to visit urgent care but happy to hear of the good care she received. Hope she feels better soon.

It’s nice to hear good things about Matthews. We used to love it but after a horrendous service experience there about 5 years ago we stopped going. I have been trying to get Tom to give it another shot but so far he’s not budging.

Hope she feels better quickly... amazed that the Dr visit was so quick and inexpensive.... USA should take a lesson! Maybe some 'slot therapy' would help the recovery! …..just sayin'...…

Glad the wife is on the mend. Nobody likes a trip to the clinic on vacation, but it helps the rest of us know that good, affordable treatment is available. Sounds like "slot therapy" is what the forum doctors are recommending

I hope her ear infections are better soon.
The smoky casinos and the brisk outside winds don’t help.

Glad you had a good experience at urgent care!

    Tuesday Day 21:

Thank you everyone, for the wife’s well wishes. Both of her ear canals are still closed, but thankfully no ear pain. Hearing and equilibrium are the prevailing issues. She hasn’t mentioned the casino, so I know she’s down and out. I’ll pass your suggestions along though.

It was mostly cloudy this afternoon, so we made a run to Super Foods and picked up a few items. Sat at the pool for a bit and then off to Ricardo’s for happy hour.

Form there we went to Bavaria for dinner. We used to go there every trip, but stopped when my health changed five years ago, as their menu didn’t work well for me. It was very busy inside, so we sat outside. We had the Chicken Schnitzel w/spätzle. The bride was in heaven and I was just glad to see her appetite return. She said everything was delicious! Peter made his way out and welcomed us, asking how the meal was.

Made our way back to the condo and watched a little TV.

Chicken schnitzel and spatzle-yum. Do they serve the schnitzel with lemon or a sauce?

I hope your bride feels better soon. The casinos miss her.

    Wednesday Day 22:

The wife was feeling a little better today, as one ear has cleared, so she wanted to do a little shopping. We drove over to La Cabana to pick up some additional Djucu jewelry for a couple of the kids. She wanted to stop at the Red Sail store, but they were closed for lunch, so she walked into The Glitz, made a small donation and left. The store was now open, so she stopped at bought a hat to help cover herself from the sun. Of course, now she says it’s to hot to wear the hat.

Stayed by the pool for a while, but it was mostly cloudy.

Changed and went to Terraza for happy hour. We each had one beverage and took in the view, which is exceptional. We ate there a couple of years ago but haven’t returned.

Drove to Paseo Herencia to see a movie. We saw The Invisible Man, which was actually pretty good.

Headed back to the condo and turned in.
