Wow!! Congrats on the wins!! You know how I love hearing Manchebo details. What did you have at Ike's? I'm disappointed to hear there haven't been any cinnamon rolls. :-(

Just read your review of Ike's (sorry, still catching up). Stephanie is a real sweetheart.

The pastries in the morning look more like desserts. I’ve been opting for the croissants which I love. I don’t care much for chocolate in the morning. Really no complaints there are plenty of options

Peg, have you ever tried Atardi (on the beach at the Marriott)? We absolutely loved it. Also if you are craving Italian, consider Azzuro at Playa Linda.

Thanks! We haven’t been to either. It always feels like we have more time to try spots than we do!!! I’ll check out the menus. Our other consideration is we need minimal walking. Tom has been having breathing issues and uses a cane so I don’t want to stress him, at least not on vacation!

I love Atardi, but it is somewhat of a long walk from the Marriott entrance to the beach. It could be difficult for Tom.

Good info! I decided to go with Casa Nonna. It’s easy access, we like the food, they have my favorite Barbera wine and there is a casino right there!!!!

Our dinner at Casa Nonna was wonderful. I’m so glad we decided to go. I’ll do a review in culinary. Our time at the Ritz casino however was a little disappointing. Tom did well, me not so much. I gave a good chunk back today. For some reason I have never had much luck at the Ritz. I do so enjoy their espresso martinis though. That may be the problem, I lose the discipline!!
