We met friends for dinner at Bohemia. We had been there when they first opened and the menu was a little more limited than now. The food was very good and we had a fantastic time with our friends. I had a goat cheese salad appy and the duck dish for my entree. Both were very good. The sauce on the duck was soooo good. Stu had a lamb sausage appy and the grouper special for his entree and he enjoyed it too. Our friends have the onion soup, grouper, escargot and a shrimp dish. We were all too full for dessert. The service was very slow initially and there was some confusion about our reservation, but overall it was really great.

I have always wanted to try the duck at Bohemian but hesitated because I understand it is only served rare. Is that still the case? I’m not a fan of rare poultry.

I think it was "susielovesaruba" that wanted the pool pix.
    Thanks for posting.

I cannot imagine that the gentleman's body was just left there covered and with police protection.
Ora24 will surely embellish the article.

On a sad note, I was told that there was a death on Eagle Beach today. It sounded like an older man exited the water and collapsed at the shoreline. I am told there were police and an ambulance. I also was told(I wasn't going out there) that they left the poor man covered for several hours while being watched over by a few policemen, but the ambulance left with sirens on. I don't know if they took the spouse or went to another call. The people who told me were out there once they saw the EMS activity.

I am going to upload the pictures of the pool that someone asked me to take.

Well their writing style is not like the WSJ or the NYTimes….
but it seems like they got this story reported quite accurately.

I know a tourist that was in the area and he told me the man was not left deceased, covered and on the beach.

I was talking with someone who just came back from the beach just after 4 pm and the man was still there. It was in front of phase 2 and people could see it from the pool area. Maybe it took time to get the doctor there and contact the ship and make other arrangements.

24Ora has a strange use of words-instead of revive or resuscitate they used reanimate.

maybe they write it in Dutch or Papiamento first, and then translate.
sometimes/often times the translation is quite off.
