Glad your travel went so well. It’s extremely nice to hear; especially where most reports are about the horrors of the airport! I think I would consider the VIP service as my husband, Tom has mobility issues and I usually get a wheelchair for him. One of my concerns about returning to Aruba has been the long lines getting into the airport.

Thanks Peg. I will do it again for sure. I think you and Tom would be very happy with their service. They also have the VIP arrival as well. Good stuff to think about.

How did US customs go with the VIP service? Did you have to wait in the long line or were you brought up front?

The rep grabbed my check-in bag for me off the luggage conveyor, walked me up to the US customs door, there were only a 2 other people there and they were already with a UC customs person, so no one was in line ahead of me at that time. The rep could not go with me through US customs, once she saw the US customs person she nodded then left to go into another door and I met her there after I cleared UC customs. Not sure if I would be sent ahead of the line if it was long. That's a good question and I would ask them in the future.

To the best of my knowledge customs is NOT included in VIP service from all the posts I read. It just gets you through all the other lines which can be huge in a weekend.

I think that with a wheelchair escort, you get through very quickly.
