We’re so over Jet Blue! The planes are old, uncomfortable and, as you noted, many times the TVs don’t work. Over the last 4 years, be it Aruba, Orlando, Tampa or anywhere we’re flying Jet Blue the flight is usually delayed and the planes dirty. We avoid flying them whenever we can.

I agree!! 25 years ago, we flew JB to Missouri for a wedding.
Oh what a novelty it was!!
Planes were new, leather or leather-like seats and good prices.
Now........... 2 thumbs down and we fly on JB only when we have to.

JB is the only non-stop from Boston.... but we do it.... service is OK, but the planes are tired.

Glad all went well with your travels. First day is tough when waking up at 3:30am. Very disorientating especially for a child. You will all be in your Aruba routine by tomorrow. Enjoy your evening and your first full day tomorrow. Hope CJ is feeling better!

That’s the way we feel about United out of Newark Liberty. It was the only nonstop, but now JetBlue has one nonstop daily. But with the thoughts on JetBlue it doesn’t seem any better. Right now flights to Aruba on United are crazy high ( almost 4 times ) for Nov. We are checking Delta at JFK which is in the normal price range. I swore we’d only fly out of Newark but I might eat my words!

I’ve had a few trips where the TVs have not worked on JetBlue. Generally, they try resetting the system, or offer to move you. If nothing available they will give you a small credit. It is annoying though. Other than that we haven’t had any real issues.

We all had a nice 1st nights sleep. Just set up our palapa for the day. I am now enjoying my 1st fruit smoothie of the trip from Educardos..yum! My son just went to workout at the mini gym and when he's done we will head over to the beach for the rest of the morning/afternoon.

My only other thought right now is it would stink to pack all of our crap up and move in another 6 days...glad we are staying put after all.

So glad you are off to a wonderful start to your vacation. Sounds like CJ is better. You are so right about packing all the stuff up and moving. I would not be a fan of moving either. Enjoy your day!

I just booked us on Delta first class October 3-17 using 85,000 miles. The airfare is $1255 for first class, and $560 for coach. I’ve been stalking the fare for the past two months and finally purchased today.
