Woke up around 8, coffee on the balcony. About 10:30 the power went out Island wide. Tried to eat at Iguana Joe’s, but because of the power outage, they were not serving food or drinks. Walked to Lucy’s, they were serving fried food and drinks. We had margaritas, nachos, wings and queso blanco. Then to Super Foods for more alcohol and groceries. Back to the condo, put groceries away, had drinks and snacks. Sometime around 11:30, I started feeling violently ill. You don’t need gory details, but suffice to say there will not be any Saturday report.

Very sorry to hear you were so ill. Sounds like it was something you ate. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Manny was waiting for us in the center curb with a van. He drove us to their office, maybe a 2 minute drive. Because I had done everything online , hubboy only showed his driver’s license. Manny re-loaded the luggage to our car and off we went! So much faster than main stream rental companies!

We drove to our condo in Savaneta, unloaded luggage, then to West Deck for grouper fingers and 2 amaretto Rita’s! Back “home” to unpack.
Hey you did not give CP Jones a chance to say "Are we there yet?" It's a tradition on this forum. :>) Enjoy....

A few of us forum members have been in your shoes. We have been taking turns it seems. What one member told me which made sense is that alcohol and digestion do not mix. We tend to over do it on that first day or two with the drinks, happy hour and bar food. The last trip I took it a lot easier than usual on the booze and had no issues the whole trip thank god because I had a couple of episodes the last 2 or 3 trips..Feel better soon and quick recovery.
