We are planning on going to O'Neills for lunch tomorrow. We have never been and have always wanted to try it.

Beautiful morning. Coffee on deck, light breakfast. Took a quick swim, then about 35 minutes of sun. Went to Charlie’s Bar. Lance, the door man, had us wait for about 15 minotes for a table. We had escargot and coconut shrimp, both very good! Great atmosphere! Joseph played his guitar and sang. Loved seeing all the memorabilia. In San Nicholas we saw Minchis Bar, The China Clipper that I read about the books An Island Away & Under a Blue Flag, set in mainly in Aruba, good read, but very racy. Saw gate they used to get to the refinery and other places in the book. Then to to Big Mama’s Bar at Baby Beach. More drinks and had hot dogs. It was a neat place, but a bit of a let down after Charlie’s! Tried to catch the sunset, but the Caribbean Princess sailed past just as the sun was setting!

Tuesday was a lazy day, took a drive, so much beauty here! Taco Tuesday again at Lucy’s. Watched a beautiful sunset from our deck. I’m pretty sure today will be more of the same as we wind down our trip.

Wednesday was a very relaxing day. We did the usual, coffee on deck, watching and listening to the surf. I could do this all day long, actually that’s pretty much what I did!

Thursday was our typical morning coffee on the deck, light breakfast. I did a couple loads of laundry so I won’t have so much when we get home, not that I’m going to need summer clothes for several months! We chose El Groucho (recommended by Tranquilo crew) for lunch. We all had the lunch special. 3 had the tenderloin, good flavor, but over cooked. One had fried grouper, very good. Service was slow, but but very efficient. There was a table with 2 couples that talked very loudly, and never stopped. One couple asked to be moved to a different table because they were so loud. I know this was not the restaurant’s fault, but unfortunately it did make the experience less enjoyable. Stopped at Iguana Joe’s for a margarita before heading back to the condo.
