Well the weather has been the pits. I think I’m less tanned on Day 6 than when we arrived.

We have had meals at Lola’s (amazing nachos and street corn!). Bistro De Suikertuin where I finally tried Keshi Yana (I’m a fan… of the restaurant and the dish!). Smoothies from Garden Fresh. Alfies for ribs night - loved the poutine. I finally found the perfect fish tacos after trying literally every place on this island - right here in front of my nose at Scott’s Brats.

I’m a fan of the Magic Mango beer, well they now have Magic Orange… it’s even better!! Plus we found it on sale at Lings for $32 for a case. Win! Win!

Praying for a sunny beach day tomorrow.

Sorry about the weather!!! We had great weather minus a day of 40 min of rain the day before we left- I think that was your 1st full day when you arrived.

Good morning. How has a full week flown by already. The days sure pass fast here in Paradise! We have 3 full days left and feels so short now. Though I am missing the grandbabies. The weather has been back to normal this week - hot, sunny and gloriously breezy. Have caught up on a lot of floating time.

Our friends from home arrived Sunday. Prior to picking them up we stopped for a late breakfast at Dutch Pancake House. The place was packed and we waited about 30 mins for a table. It was worth it as always. We will likely have our last meal there Sunday on our way to the airport. The airport was busy, friends’ flight landed 30 mins early but they had to wait the same amount of time for a gate. Once they finally deplaned they were out the door in about 20 mins.

This week, while still busy, seems slower than last week. The PL beach definitely has less people on it. There is so much traffic in front of the hotels. I’m sure due to the new roundabout construction. It’s a pain to get around and also hazardous crossing the street as cars aren’t stopping consistently. Hard to tell if it’s tourists who don’t know better or just impatient drivers. In any case, be more alert than usual when crossing.

I’ve had many more orders of fish tacos from Scots and they have been spot on every time. We have had burgers from Carlitos (very large and good), breakfasts at Dushi Bagels (consistently good), fish sandwiches from Pelican Nest (I think they’ve gone down hill), Bugaloe (food good, service still requires patience). Dinners have been mostly casual -Bingo for my favorite coconut shrimp. They had a salad with white asparagus that was really yummy too, others had burgers and mixed grill plates and all were great as usual. Iguana Cantina - it was just OK. I’m not a fan, but it’s our friend’s favorite so we obliged. I think we will skip in the future though. We also had dinner with Walt and Pam, and SkiChris, Saturday at Tandoor- first time there and we really enjoyed it. Another evening we just ended up drinking our dinner at Carlitos LOL. Last night the guys grilled up some nice large shrimp skewers and I made a salad and sangria for a nice dinner on our balcony.

We intended to head downtown yesterday so my GF could do some shopping and maybe try the Keshi Yena again, but we couldn’t drag ourselves off the beach. We will try again today. Tonight is our favorite, Atardi - can’t wait.

Looks like another beautiful day is on tap.

Thanks for sharing! Keep us posted on Atardi. We stay at the Marriott and haven’t eaten at Atardi in years. At the time food was just OK and should have been amazing for what they charge. Maybe they have a new chef since everyone raves about it which I am happy to hear. Enjoy!!!

My cousin had dinner at Atardi the other night and raved about it. Hope that helps!
