I agree 110% about the US and Aruba getting their collective act together regarding security, immigration and customs. The duplicate effort is what the US government thrives on, so I doubt it will ever change. Let's not even get started on how ridiculous the testing requirement is. Welcome home!

The return testing requirement IS ridiculous. It really made for angst for the last few days of my trip.

Welcome home. I enjoyed reading about your trip. I like your idea of getting tested and then going for some Dutch Pancakes. I'm going to do the same on my next trip.

    Vicks and covid

Thanks for the memories!
I recently tested positive for covid. No bad symptoms just sneezing. I tried Vicks to keep my nostrils open. When I looked at the expiration date it was four years old. No smell at all until five days later. I hadn't realized I had lost my sense of smell so Vicks is a really good way to test that, lol.

    Welcome to the forum Monthend!
My mother always made us eat a teaspoon of Vicks if we had a bad cold.
    I believe it was abusive.
Vicks on Qtip in nose helps!

Eat it? It's called a rub for a reason. I had gallons of it rubbed on my chest growing up. Some cop friends put it under their nose when they view autopsies.

I want to grow my own food, but I
    can't find any bacon seeds...
