    Adventures in Maine and NH

So we got outta Dodge on Sunday and flew into Bangor.

Allegiant came to their senses and gave us the flight credit.
I had to beg and whine and pray.........and they came thru.
Never though, will I recommend Allegiant to even my worst enemy.

Bangor is about 140 miles north of where our son lives but we had places to see along the way to his house.
We stopped in Fairfield for some wonderful pancakes and hash omelet, then on to Waterville to see our old house.
Apparently they have no lawn mower or landscape person as the grass is knee high.

We got to the James compound in time for dinner and boy was it great to see them all.

Over the last few days we have been toy shopping, museum going and taking the kids for breakfast or lunch.

Today is the younger grandson's kindergarten orientation and we will bring him and then take Jake out for a trolley ride and some fishing at the Nubble.
(Son 's new job does not include much vacation or PTO time early on and our daughter in law is attending teacher workshops as she teaches in York.)
    Our services are needed!

We have yet to get down to MA for our visits to the cemeteries and for Chateau food and the Armenian bakery in Belmont.

    That's all so far.

Good for you taking Allegiant on with desired results! So happy you got to go to hang with the kids! Did you know that the Chateau is 8 locations strong now?
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the best of men!

All so familiar (I lived in Kennebunkport and worked in Portland for a couple of years). And many an afternoon spent at Nubble!
So glad you made it up and brought Allegiant to their knees. Enjoy!
I want to know more about the Chateau!

Glad that Allegiant relented and gave you your credits! Of course also glad that your back has recovered enough for you to travel!! It’s nice for you to get some quality time with the grandkids and I’m sure Kevin and his wife appreciate the extra help. Now all you need is for the weather to cooperate.
