    Airco woes

Not the economy right now in this house...........Our 9 year old air co has met its maker.
    Currently 82 in the house.
Airco man here now, and the new unit will be installed on Monday
    $6000+
Fingers crossed that this does not impact our June trip, but things do not look promising financially.

Good luck with that... It's a real hickey to the budget.
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the best of men!

Cannot live without A/C in Florida. Sorry about the expense but at least you will be good for another 10 years or so. We have about 4 more years on ours before we have to replace it again.

Our July trip is paid for so no plans to change anything. If the economy slows down as expected, we may add another trip to Aruba later in the year as airfares will probably drop with the economic downturn. Trying to find an optimistic side to this mess.

Oh no! So sorry to hear this. Awful when these things come out of nowhere unexpectedly! We just replaced ours 2 months ago voluntarily since our system was 34 years old when we bought our townhouse! Can you believe it!!!! We didn’t want to be in a position of it dying in July. But yours was only 9 years old. They don’t make things like they used to for sure! Hope things work out and it doesn’t impact your June trip!!!

    Brady and Peg
Our airco guy was shocked that it was covered.
    he was thrilled too.

not as thrilled as us though

we have a portable unit in the bedroom and every ceiling paddle fan is spinning.

bedroom is 70 ...rest of the house is 84

will make more trips to the pool
