How is Florida handling distribution? I saw something on social media that some counties were doing first come first serve but didn’t know if to believe it or not?~

    Peggy, sad but true.
First come ... first serve. (at least in Voluisa county and do not have to be a resident either or from Florida)
The site on Monday and Tuesday is for 65 y/o and over.
Wondering what will happen to the folks who don't drive.

they also had the link for polk county dept of public health.
the public health is doing first come first serve.

The sad thing about first come first serve is there ends up being long lines and lots of waiting. Tom wouldn’t be able to stand that long and I’m sure there are many in the same situation.

Here in Fla, they are doing front line health care workers now

Apparently next week, it opens for over 65 and that is what is first come first served.

I just read a report that my county is currently at 19.9% positivity rate. 2 private schools are reporting outbreaks, they have higher enrollment this year because they are doing all in person learning. I also read that Virginia ICU beds are at 81% full. People just are not taking things seriously.
The best trip is the next trip. Anxiously waiting to book something.

That’s concerning; 19.9 positivity is really high and the next few weeks will be challenging. Unfortunately, as we all know, there doesn’t seem to be any way to get some people to follow the guidelines. We are currently at 6.7% and climbing.

Really upsetting to hear this. I can see another outbreak happening after the holidays. (possible another shut down .. I hope not)
At Florida Universal and Islands of Adventure they reached their cap in 10 minutes of opening.. (by the looks it was packed)
It was noted on the news that people were walking around in outside events NYE no mask close contacts.
