You'll find the right one when you are supposed to find it. Just be patient.

We will. There is no rush on our end. If/when the right one comes up we will try and land it. If not...we will stay where we are. I feel better about it today...I was a bit bummed out last night. Buying homes that are 150-200 years old is an adventure for sure with so many "new" things to consider prior to buying.

Years ago, our neighbor sold high, rented for a while(put stuff in storage) and then bought low. (they sold to move closer to his job)

So funny you say that..our realtor asked us if we would do that yesterday- and waited 10 seconds and we said NO! Lol. If you are young and don't mind moving more than once...I get it and its a great choice. Us with a little one, we need to pass to reduce the movement on him.

I didn't think you'd want to do that. They never had kids and he was tired of commuting. The area they were moving to was more expensive than our area and were not sure where in the area they wanted to live, so they, so they waited. I would not want to do it, but it worked for them.

we have been watching "farmhouse fixer" on Hgtv

so far, old houses in new england

I was raised in a OLD house. dirt floor in cellar and fieldstone foundation.
it was a money pit for my granddad and my dad (the owners)

however jay, catch an episode......what this guy does to these old farmhouses is so wonderful (and it is Jordan Knight from NKOB)

We did well when we downsized 4+ years ago..... premium for our house.... and a good deal on the condo that's worth about 35% more now. Real Estate has always been tough.
