    I texted with BradyBear earlier.
    she feels lousy
headaches, unmerciful cough, exhaustion, body aches
her dr put her on cough medicine and other meds.
to top it off she has a secondary sinus infection.

the crazy thing is she has been surrounded by covid + patients at her work from the very beginning
(she is a nurse). and she has stayed covid free
she is double boosted, and is tested at least once weekly.

That’s awful. Seems like a sinus infection comes along with current virus strain. Same happened to my neighbor but she’s better now after taking the new pills they have for COVID. Really sucks when you are vaccinated and double boosted but it kept BradyBear out of the hospital or in intensive care!

Brady Bear, I am so sorry to read this. I hope that you feel better soon. My daughter tested positive last Thursday. She's also vaccinated and boosted, and she is very sick. She ended up in the ER this morning, but her oxygen and stats were good, so they sent her home with some meds. She is immuno compromised and thinks that the vaccines are the only thing that have kept her out of the hospital.

I hope your daughter recovers quickly. It’s scary for those who are immunocompromised. For some of the immunocompromised, the vaccines are not generating antibodies. That’s what we found with Tom. He was tested after the 4th shot and didn’t have antibodies so they gave him preventative monocolonal injections. Now they’re saying he should get a 5th shot! He’ll get it but to us it doesn’t make much sense.

I have a friend who doesn't have any antibodies after his cancer treatment. My daughter was very sick after the vaccines and the booster so we think that she does. I think about your Tom often. I know that this is such a scary time for you. This time last year, we all thought that the virus was almost over. Now the numbers where I live are incredibly high again.
