Mohegan Sun for a brief trip

We’re heading off tomorrow for Mohegan Sun to celebrate 40 years of wedded bliss! I have been itching to go somewhere. While somewhat anxious because of the rising COVID numbers we’ve just decided it’s time to get out and do something we enjoy. We’ll still wear masks which I really don’t mind.

We’ve been to Foxwoods but never Mohegan so it will be fun to explore. They seem to have a lot to do, plenty of restaurants, two casinos with over 5,000 slot machines and shops, plus an indoor pool. It won’t compare to the beaches in Aruba but I think it will be relaxing. I made reservations at Ballo, an Italian restaurant, for our anniversary dinner tomorrow. I even remembered to pull out my djucu in the hopes it will bring me as much luck as it does in Aruba!!!!!

I hope you enjoy Ballo, it’s one of my favorite restaurants there. I’m not sure it’s still on the menu but I do love the shrimp piccata.

Thank you! I’m looking forward to it. I was going back and between Ballo and Tuscany. Decided to choose Ballo when you mentioned it in an earlier post.
