It's been a long time since I posted.. beyond busy(
Booked a surprise trip to Aruba Sept 21st. SWA canceled our flights and had to find out through the LaCabana forum.. (booked 10 nights there) However I did find flights to Aruba with JetBlue direct. Just hoping fingers crossed that it don't get canceled.

Well, today we officially cancelled our first beach visit of the year - Memorial Day to Ocean City, Maryland. One of the people who invited us has a compromised immune system and just decided it was for the best to postpone. We have heard that since the boardwalk reopened, people are not using common sense. Lodging is not even scheduled to open until the day we arrived, so our group decided just to cancel now while we can get our full refund because if they open, restaurants and bars are still going to be a challenge. Part of me is happy that a decision has been made, but the other part misses our friends and just the sound of the ocean waves would have been a nice change from our living room.

Viking has decided(no surprise) to extend the suspension of operations to the end of August. They are offering a 125% toward a new cruise. Next week we will be rebooking this year's cruise to next summer.

The convention we attend this year, been 20 years straight was canceled yesterday. It was in Denver this time,so we would have combined that with a week in Vegas. Now we’re skipping both. This however, does open another trip to Aruba. Now to start looking at flights.

Stu's conference was supposed to be the beginning of August in Chicago and they cancelled it a few weeks ago and rescheduled it for next August.

We rebooked our Viking part of our trip for next year. With the extra 25% we were able to upgrade to premium economy on the flights and pay for the drink package and most the gratuities package. Part of what was given back to us in the voucher was an extra tour we had booked and that went toward this too, so if we still want to book extra excursions, we will have to pay for that.

They also returned about $600 in credits-previous traveler credit and vouchers we had purchased and we are using them toward the trip to France next October-it'll cover our drink package and gratuities and take off some of what we still owe on that trip.
