I believe you must have some sort of residency permit - retiree, student, work, full-time etc.

My wife and I are both vaccinated (she is a nurse). The couple we are traveling to Aruba with are also both vaccinated (he is a Doctor). I know this doesn't make a difference as to our arrival in Aruba and we will still need the negative Covid test before our trip but we feel much better about visiting Aruba now (and for our return to the US).
If anyone in NJ who is trying to get a vaccine appointment needs help, my daughter is part of a "Vaccine Angel" group has gotten hundreds of vaccine appointments for older NJ residents. Message me if she might be able to help.

Robin, glad you were able to arrange the vaccine appointment for your return to NJ. Rowan has been doing a good job, but just make sure you get your 2nd appointment for the return for 2nd does when you get your 1st dose. They had some issues early on, not providing these right away.

There were some issues apparently. Bring those Web and Elmar bills!

Were the issues on Aruba or as a precaution for what occurred on Sint Maarten( tourists apparently got vaccinated)?

All residents of Aruba have a right to the vaccine, irrespective of legal status. Legal residents can just register through the app and non-legal residents need to go in person to make an appointment so that a doctor can do a quick medical questionnaire.
