I brought my boys to the hospital last night for some positive motivation, I hope. Some family doesn't agree with my decision, however, I don't agree with some family, sooooo......

She's got a very difficult road and I don't want her to give up. She didn't open her eyes for them, but she did put her hands up (to have the boys hold them) and called out to them. They told her to keep working hard & get strong so she can run on the beach in Aruba with them next year.

I agree with you. I think that your boys can be a huge motivation to help your Mom fight to get well. Follow your own instincts. They will not let you down. Please know your family is in my prayers.

Seeing your boys was some of the best medicine she will receive. Never underestimate the power of grandchildren. They are truly wonderful.

Please keep the prayers and good thoughts coming. Jacki's mom's recovery has been quite slow and she is frustrated.
She is making some progress but wishing it were faster recovery!

Thanks. Still in hospital, she's gone back & forth between a telemetry floor & the CCU. Many troubled areas are looking better. Mental clarity is much better. She needs strength....and so do I! This escapade is exhausting!

Caregivers tend to forget to care for themselves. Try to get some rest Jacki. Many prayers for you and your family.
