As you watch the specials it’s surprising how much we did not know about her as a person. Quite the life. RIP Queen Elizabeth.

I am so sure with the Queen being an animal lover with some many in her life time; they are all going to meet her at the Rainbow Bridge.
She really did make a difference not only in the UK but all over the world, she prepared the new "King" Charles long long in advance in her will follow her footsteps
May you rest in peace "Lilibit"

Did anyone watch the funeral today? I turned it on around 8 so I didn’t see the service in Westminster. I watched/listen till noon. It was so moving when they removed the crown from the casket.

Saw some of the procession early this morning. Quite moving and majestic, but the bagpipes and the commentators trying to find something to say started getting old after a while. May she rest in peace.

I've been watching some of the CNN videos - yes very moving. It was sweet that they had her 2 little Corgies there on the steps.

I recorded it beginning at 4 am on CNN

Will watch later ...fast forward...watch...fast forward...watch

What we have seen in little bits is exceptionally solemn and quite extraordinary.

Yes, it was very long. I watched for an hour and then had it on as I did what I needed to do, then started watching again once they brought her into the church.

One thing I realized during this time is that My Country Tis' Of Thee has the same melody of God Save the King/Queen.

I watched most of the coverage. I thought BBC did a very good job. Spoke to explain certain elements but no 'fill the air space' talk. During the procession to Windsor Castle they interviewed various people (Queen Mother's biographer, the Queen's bag pipe player) and each told personal stories that captured who the queen was as a person.
