    Jay, most people have no idea what teachers and students face on a daily basis and would be shocked to learn what happens in the homes and neighborhoods of many of these kids. You and I both can tell stories that will stun most people.

    I can't imagine how difficult today must have been. Thankfully, I never lost a student while in my class, but one did have died about 10 later of gunshot wounds. Several of us debated whether to attend the viewing, but opted not to due to his known gang affiliation.

    Did they pull counselors from other schools to help?

    We did have extra counselors here today. They sent them from our other schools to help out.
    Trip 38 booked for Feb! Cant wait.
