Look into Mystic, CT and you can visit the Mohegan Sun which isn’t far to visit for a few hours (maybe). It’s a cute little town bur I’ve only gone when the weather was still kind. Maybe visit in the spring.

Then looking at the Mohegan website they have a statement asking anyone over 65 or high risk to visit at a later date!

It has been years but I’ve been to Mystic a few times. It’s a great place to visit. Also have been to Foxwoods so that’s why I was leaning towards Mohegan Sun.

MS is a bit newer and they did not seem to have as many hard core every day gamblers....a bit more relaxed IMO.

I prefer Mohegan over Foxwoods. It's easier to get to, right off the highway.

Mohegan Sun, recently named an “Industry Innovator” by Eastern Connecticut’s Chamber of Commerce, is proud to be among the first casino resorts in the world to become Sharecare Health Security VERIFIED® with Forbes Travel Guide. The comprehensive facility verification helps ensure that guests and travel planners can book with confidence at properties that have appropriate health safety procedures in place. This verification also comes with an easily identifiable “seal of approval” – the Sharecare VERIFIED® with Forbes Travel Guide badge – based on compliance with expert-validated best practices that minimize the risk and impact of COVID-19 and potential future public health events.
