Good morning to all my American friends here on the forum,
We have had a serious upsurge in COVID-19 cases here in Winnipeg and in other parts of western Canada.
Most, not all, but most of the new cases are being traced back to large family gatherings held during our Thanksgiving Day weekend which was two weeks ago; right in that critical incubation period. Now we are facing a possible complete lockdown. There is no law against being thoughtless and stupid but there are consequences.
To my friends down south; your own Thanksgiving Day is a few weeks away. Please learn the lessons from your northern neighbour or repeat the consequences on a much larger scale.
This thread, in my judgement deserves its own thread in the off-topic category.
