    Aruba Airport Today

Someone from a Face Book Aruba page posted that the lines were long today at the airport and there were a lot of delayed flights etc. Forget it, some of the members started to bash the poor guy telling him to suck it up and other with their sarcastic comments. He wrote back, geez I'm at the airport now and I was just giving people the heads up to make sure they get here 3-4 hours early. Then others started commenting, well it only took me 45 minutes last week but I have Global Entry so that saved me an hour. Another, well I don't have to get there early my Mother has wheel chair service so we just zip through.

I was shaking my heads and said to myself, thank god for this non judgmental forum.

I believe it is crazy there today. Tons of rain. Three long downpours since this morning and windy. Glad I am not driving today.

I was always told December/January & sometimes February is the rainy season in Aruba. But it used to mean 20 minutes of rain. Now weather has changed everywhere!

I'm in Malmok and today was a sunless rainy day... all day and raining now still 7:45pm.
I'm not sure if it added to the long lines at the airport since they can be crazy long without any rain.

ya, personal attacks on FB are numerous.
and yes, thank God for this non judgmental forum.
I really hate FB and yet I am on FB.

Aruba's airport lines today.........tons of flights in the afternoon, very busy travel season with lots going home (and lots arriving), inclement weather to name just a few.

telling someone to "suck it up" is pretty useless.....people should just scroll on by.

The intense rain may have caused flight delays in and out of Aruba.
