Yep, Stu was flagged by TSA in both Anchorage and Seattle.

Currently sitting in the lounge as our flight is delayed 4 hours. Waiting to see if it will actually get off the ground today.

FYi-I posted about our brownie issue on FB. I had one friend tell me she was wearing a shirt with metallic thread and it set off the metal detector and another said her glitter teeshirt set off the metal detector. A friend who is a travel agent said cheese and chocolate will also be a reason for TSA checking your bag because, like the brownie, it is density and shape.

Pam got pulled out of the pre-check line and had her bag searched because of a bag of Swedish Fish on the way to Nashville.

Do you think if we apply for Global Entry we will have it in 2 months? Also, I notice you need your number on your flight reservation I would hope if we get approved in time we can add the number to our existing flight reservation? Any more info would be greatly appreciated, think this would be well worth the $ when leaving Aruba on a busy afternoon.

from what i heard about global entry, my cousin was renewing his and they told him it could take up to six months but his present one would be honored because the system knows he is renewing. They said they are backlogged. But his wife had hers renewed in like 2 weeks. So who knows. It wouldn't hurt to just do it and hope for the best. As far as adding it to your ticket, that is where it gets tricky if you already booked. You might not get the TSA pre-approved but what I would do is if you get it, call the airline. Originally when we got it the first time and we had our flights already booked, the woman at United did it for me and so by the time we left and printed our boarding pass, it was there on my account.

Thanks Gaby, I just finished the applications for both of us, probably should have researched a bit more looks like we may need to go to Boston for the interview part if it gets that far, not a fan of driving to Boston. If we get it for this year good if not we will have it for next time. I did see the big red Back Logged message as well.

Hi Brenda, interviews are done at Logan and you know we only go into Boston when we have to. Although we could take the Logan Express I guess.
